It,s a new must have! They are back!!! This year is very fashionable to wear many bracelets together.
Some days ago I started to make Friendship Bracelets and since then I just can,t stop myself. I really love it and I find them so cool since I was a teenager. And as summer is really close and we start to renounce to heavy clothes, we can add those accessorize to our outfits.  You can make them in any color(s) you want and add whatever bead or charm on them.
The history says that friendship bracelet is a bracelet given by one person to another as a symbol of friendship. Friendship bracelets are handmade and usually made out of embroidery floss or thread. There are various styles and patterns, but most are based on the same simple half-hitch knot. The making of friendship bracelets is a version of macrame.
The amount of thread used in bracelets can and usually does vary. The smallest pattern, a double chain knot, requires two strings. The candy stripe can have as few as three strings and as many as forty, based on pattern and thickness.
Friendship bracelets first became popular in the United States during the 1970s, and are commonly worn by both male and female.
The most common patterns are: Candy Stripe, Chevron, Bordered Chevron, Inverse Chevron, Zig Zag, Hearts and Double Chevron pattern.
